About Pacific Terminals
Built on Access.
Driven by Efficiency.
Founded in 1982, Pacific Terminals operates a 157,000-square-foot distribution facility at Terminal 7A in the Port of Seattle, strategically located on the Duwamish Waterway near Elliott Bay.
Marine barging is our largest division, providing efficient and environmentally responsible transportation between regional markets and our Seattle terminal. Cargo is seamlessly transferred from barge to rail, truck, or container for domestic and international distribution.
In addition to our marine operations, Pacific Terminals provides transloading and distribution services for:
- Import apparel
- Mining supplies and super sacks
- Heavy equipment
- High-value industrial cargo
In 2005, we launched our logistics division, specializing in LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments of frozen seafood, expanding our service capabilities beyond traditional break-bulk and industrial cargo.
We work closely with trusted local industry partners — including Island Tug and Barge, Western Towboat, Sea Pac Transload, and Salmon Bay Tug and Barge — to deliver integrated logistics solutions with flexible routing, equipment, and service options tailored to each customer’s needs.
With over four decades of experience, Pacific Terminals delivers multimodal solutions backed by operational expertise, strong partnerships, and long-term customer relationships.
With the recent acquisition of Specialized Transloading Solutions, Pacific Terminals has expanded its capabilities to handle oversized, irregular, and non-standard cargo. This addition allows us to efficiently manage the loading, offloading, and transfer of complex freight—further strengthening our ability to support specialized logistics needs across a wide range of industries.
